Hi folks,

Brand new user here, trying desperately to find a tool. I'm building a garage/shop (more on that in another post later) and while helping out a buddy of mine lost my adapter that lets me use quick connect screw driver bits with my Ryobi One keyless chuck drill. Now I cannot seem to find the right combination of search terms to find a new one on Google/Amazon and my local Home Depot only carries the new-style driver units with the quick-connect socket, no adapters.

Anyone got a link to one of these adapters? Getting frustrated here!

Cheers,

--Steve in AZ

Hi uart,

Trouble is those have the quick connect base -- I need the adapter for a keyless chuck drill - non-magnetic - that locks in that quick connect.

Well sure I can still use it, but especially while building I'm always switching between phillips and star-drive and frankly I hate losing tools :)

No problem, you'll like it a lot. It's also the only quick release holder that I've had that doesn't have any bit wobble, even with 6" bits.

Craftsman has their Speedlok kits on sale. I picked this one up for 20 bucks... May get another to keep in the house. Haven't had any issues with "wobble"...
