Hi, everyone. Thanks for letting me come hangout and share some of my limited knowledge and steal some of your seemingly unlimited knowledge. I've been lurking on and off for years, but I'm in the process of closing on a new house and will finally have a garage to be proud of. Technically, I'll have two garages, but one will eventually be converted to a pool/guest house. I want garage functionality to still be there in the off chance I get to ever build a Factory Five Roadster.
The first order of business is having the floors epoxied and adding lighting. I'll be hiring out the flooring because of time constraints with moving, but I'll handle the lighting and other tasks myself. The garage will be used for basic "homeowner" tasks - general woodworking, car/motorcycle/bicycle maintenance, etc. I'm trying to convince my wife that a four post lift is a requirement in a new house, but we'll see how that goes. I'm getting tired of jack stands and a creeper.
