I got a Direct lift PP8S four post for Christmas. My question is that where the cable is attached to the upper cap doesnt look right. Does any one have a picture of one of these?
Thanks

I have a PP8S that was installed about 5 months ago. What are you seeing that looks wrong? I can take a couple pictures if I know what you are looking for.

Thanks Jim that would be great. What I am looking at is therouting of the cable at the top of the post. Where the end comes from the end cap and the way it wraps around the the two top pullies (the white nylon one and the metal one).
Here is the way I thought it would be but you can see that it seems to be in a bind.

Here it looks better but the small pulley has no use.

Thats what I was thinking but that small wheel is part of the saftey lock system. It and the other side need to be pulled and pushed and this one does not work off the release handle

If it's like my Bend Pak, it does need to go around that upper pulley. It should be pulled back a bit once the cable is tightened. If that upper pulley is part of a safety....it needs to be "pulled" a bit by the cable...and the safety works when that "pull" goes away...as if the cable got slack or broken.

Pretty sure your top pic is right as what Matt is saying. You won't have the lift any higher than what you do now and the weight of everything will make it not bind.
