22X25 2 story, only first story is heated. Located in MA. 2x4 Wood frame, cedar clapboard, 16x7 single OH door, 2 windows, 1 man door at rear. Finished with blueboard and veneer plaster job, no drafts. Epoxy coated slab. 3 1/2 inches FG in walls 6 inches in ceiling (room above will be heated someday) OH door is factory insulated. Heated with a 25K BTU Beacon Morris hydronic unit heater which is set up as a separate zone on my oil fired hot water boiler. Heat is fast, fairly even and as you could guess still cold at the floor. The garage is attached to the house so I have a common section of wall, I'm sure that helps the heat loss a little. It's a guess because of the big swings in oil prices but I think it might have cost me about 2-300 bucks to heat last winter, but I only heat it when I'm working or I have something drying out there. Usually only gets to about 35 degrees worst case anyway.
