Quick question about lights

I'm gonna install some 4ft 4000lm LED lights in my garage. I have a workbench that is along one side of the garage. How fare from the wall should I mount my lights? I'm not real worried about shadows but I was wanting to get the maximum usage outta my lights. Thank you for the help.

The Garage Journal has a forum that is dedicated to lighting, located right above the Garage Gallery that you selected to come into this forum.
I found it very helpful when I replace all the lights in my shop with LED's.
