Quick Swivel 1000

Hello, Has anyone used a quick swivel 1000? If you have, I'd like your opinion. Want to suspend heater a couple of feet from the ceiling and haven't quite decided how I want to do this. The quick swivel will suspend a Sterling GG75 from a 14' ceiling. I'm mainly concerned about how level the mount is able to hold the heater and if it is solid when locked down.

Well anyway, thanks for looking. Just wanted to know if anyone had used one. Guess not. They are pricey when compared to struts and rod. Not sure if it would be any better, or worth the money.

Depending on your layout and intended use, I think this would be extremely handy to point the heat to where you are working. Didn't look at it long enough to gather how all the wiring and plumbing is kept in check, but they must have it accounted for. I'd try some other sites to find feedback from actual users. I see Northern Tool sells them? Amazon?

Also, don't get discouraged about lack of initial reply here. Sometimes it takes a few days. Adding a little more detail to your title may help increase readers/comments also.

I used the quick-sling qswi3000 for my Modine 100,000BTU hanging heater(125 lbs.) They are rated up to 200 lbs. I just bolted mine to the bottom chord of a truss about 4 ft. from the wall. 4 bolts into the truss. Very sturdy. There is a lot of adjustment with these hangers to get them to hang your heater level which is VERY important to eliminate vibration. I angled mine at 45 degrees.

Thanks. I plan to hang mine at 45 degrees, too. Good to know that it is sturdy and can be adjusted for level. The heater will be hanging about 10’ off the floor, so I want to do this once. The price is high enough, compared to struts and rods, that I want to make sure others have had good luck with them.
