The other nite my wife asked me to hang a tapestry over the front door. Too high to do with a step ladder, so I got out my 12 ft extension ladder. Since I didnt want to damage the interior wall with the ladder ends, and my set of actual "wall savers" were on the other ladder out back, I looked round the house for something else to use.

I found some pvc/vinyl can coolers that my wife uses as giveaways from her advertising company. They slipped right on and protected the wall perfectly.

**Darn shouldve put this under the Tools heading***

See? people mis-using equipment again. Should have just grabbed a couple beers, put them in the can coolers and sat back chugging the brew. Forget all about the tapestry and the ladder.

Ah yes, my was my first thought, though after just moving in 6 months back, hanging stuff on the walls is a small price to pay(back) for the nice detached garage we had built. Having the wife buy-in to something like that just makes life so much easier :)
