A couple questions for any Quickjack owners.

1- What type of grease gun fitting do you use for the pivot joints on the frames?
2- How much grease do you use for both frames?

The manual suggests Lube-Link products, but which size or style works best? I'm considering a mini-style grease gun just for the Quickjacks.

Quickjacks Europe has a maintenance video using MOTIP products and their grease is in a can with a plastic nozzle. The nozzle is like a tube of caulk, and it operates like a can of spray foam, which seems like it would work well. Unfortunately, it's only available across the pond.

I have had a quickjack since about a year after they came out. I have been using superlube high viscosity PTFE instead of grease, and have not had any issues yet. Don't really expect I will have any either.

Thanks for the reply @mishkaya . Do you oil through the hole in the frames, or directly in the joints?

I tried the Superlube grease last year on a ratchet and it works great.

Thanks for another data point @PCMusicGuy .

I purchased mine used last weekend and even though the QJ is just under two years old, decided to do all the maintenance to have a baseline.

I was surprised to see the manual has greasing the frames as a monthly maintenance item. I suppose that's for systems which are used daily.
