Just run the thing up and down all day until the baby gets used to it :0)

Or... belt drive and nylon rollers, plus run it up and down by hand and find any squeaking/loose/binding points.

When i replace my opener ,I want to hear it go up & down , I want to know when someone is opening my door.

Put an alarm on it. If somebody is opening your door without permission, they're probably not using the opener.
