Anyone ever use the Quikrete epoxy floor paint on their garage floor?

If so, lets hear what you think about it.

This is my garage floor at my mountain house using Quikrete's Eproxy and Clear Sealer. I plan to put a second clear coat on it......the most important thing I learned about applying epoxy - other than proper etching - is that the concrete must be TOTALLY free of any moisture. If you drip sweat on it, it won't stick at that spot...seriously. Product is performing as advertised. :)

I have painted at least 2 dozen gallons of the stuff. My experience is that its a decent paint for mid range traffic. I used the Rust Oleum stuff first in my shop and have been very happy with it. However the Rust Oleum and the Quickrete stuff looks the same but in my experience they don't last the same. I painted the Rust Oleum back in December of 06 and it still looks decent even though I routinely pull my snowmobiles over it. Even the carbides on the skis and skags have not scratched it. In fact the only way I have found to damage it is paint stripper left on it in a small puddle overnight, and an oxy acetlyne torch. Unfortunately I dont think you can get the Rust Oleum one anymore. The Quickrete I have painted in the stalls and though its on the same concrete pad, poured at the same time, and I used the same preparation methods it is not holding up near as well. It gets scratched much easier and by the drain where water collects it has loosened up.

It workes great; have done two garages with it. Make sure if you apply a clear coat to it, you get the right one. Two part paint requires two part clear or it will not adhere properly. Do not ask me how I know this; just take it as a fact... :)

I used it in my new garage back in June. Went down easy and looks good.

I used it on the wood floor of my enclosed trailer with the clear top coat. I have been real happy with the floor. It's been in for 2 summers and holding up very well.
