Hello all!
I need another air compressor like I need a hole in the head but I couldn’t pass up this deal. I found a Quincy 210L brand new, still on the crate with the hang tags and plastic plugs in the holes for $100. So now I am wanted to start another air compressor build but I don’t know what size tank I should fit this pump to. I’ve searched google and came up with very little.
I’d like to put it on a 60 gallon vertical but I’m not sure if the pump is large enough for this. I have a 3 HP baldor motor and plan on spinning the pump at 1000 rpm which is the max for this Quincy pump. I have the pulley configuration already addressed. Can I get away with a 60 gallon tank for this?
I can’t post pictures yet because this is only my 2nd post here in this forum. The quota is 5
I’m not sure why this is even a rule. I’ll try to post some later when I have been let off my leash
