Quincy 310-24 Help

Hello to all , i am new to the garege fourm , i have a quincy 310-24 i am in search for a sheeve to fit this model compressor , any help would be appreciated, Thanks

Used one on Ebay right now, but they want $500 for it. I don’t have one to spare. Do a nationwide Craigslist search. May have to buy another machine to get a pulley. Where are you? There are a couple rebuildable ones in my area, but I have a strange ability to find them.!

Thanks for the info, I am in west monroe ,Louisiana. I found a quincy 212-24 on craiglist , that the owner just gave it to me, had to drive to Jackson Miss. to pick it up, the 212 sheeve only has 1 v-belt groove in the pulley, do you think this will work for the quincy 310 ??

2fast, I looked at the 310 parts manuals on Quincy's website and it shows that there are two model 310 pumps, one is a "High Pressure rated" pump which has 2 belt grooves, and the standard pump has only one groove. Both are 14Ø x 1.25Ø bore, so they match the 212 sheave, BUT you must be sure the sheave matches the rotation of your pump, as they made one for CW rotation and one for CCW rotation.

Tool Tyrant Thanks for the info. how can i find out if i have a high pressure pump vs a standard pump, the pump has the pilot assembly part no. 110198 i guess that might mean that possibly it was used with a gasoline engine ? also do you know how i can determine whether or not i need a cw vs ccw rotation sheave, because when i got the pump it did not have a sheave on it ?? the pump has the intercooler on it , Thanks

The "High Pressure Rated" pump uses a different cylinder and head (I believe)
but probably fairly rare and I assume you would be able to utilize the "High Pressure Rated" pump for standard operation, but not vice-versa.

To determine pump rotation, look at the arrow on the TOP of the oil pump, that is the rotation direction. If the arrow is pointing to the right, it's in CCW rotation set-up (as viewed from the sheave / flywheel). It's easy to reverse rotation, see pg. 23 in the 'QR-25 series' instruction manual, (dated 1994)
