What direction as you look at the flywheel should it spin?

So the fan blows back towards the pump

Counter clockwise on this view of mine

Most of them should spin CCW, however they did make a few that spun the other way and their oil pumps had to be changed accordingly. Check for a cast arrow on the flywheel fins. Hofferwood posted a good picture.
