First off I'm new here but have read lots of good information about these compressors but I can't quite find exactly what I need. I just bought this compressor to restore partly because I think they're neat and because I could use a bigger compressor in my shop.
This compressor came off a truck originally so it was just used in continuous run mode. There is no hydraulic unloader. I'm trying to figure out exactly what I need to set it up to run on a tank with a pressure switch. I'm assuming I have to get an unloader valve to put on it. Can I just plumb the line that goes to the current control valve to the hydraulic unloader and get rid of the current control valve and be good to go? I don't really need continuous run mode but what would I need to have both. I've attached some pictures so you can see what I have. Thanks for the good info so far and for any other help you can provide.
