Just curious, you all think 1750 would be a fair price for one of these? QR-25 Quincy 350 with a 10hp motor? I’m gonna have to buy a single phase motor for it but but considering if I wanted just the bare pump brand new, they’re between 2200-2600, it seems like a good deal. Comes with a 120 gal tank.

I do a decent amount of sandblasting and Cerakote.
And I’m sure I can sell the 3phase motor

That's a ton of compressor, nice.

Are you intending to keep it 10hp? Some (many?) power companies restrict the size motor that's allowed, and unless you know of an avenue to sell the 3ph motor, I wouldn't count that in as a sure thing.

Very nice compressor, Ideally keeping it 3 phase would be best. Have you priced a 7.5-10 hp single phase motor?
I've been down this road, i ended up building a phase converter.

I have an extra 7.5 Baldor single phase just collecting dust but I found an almost new 10hp single phase Baldor locally for $500 I’ve been eyeballing too.

Haven’t decided which route to pursue yet. I would love to throw a 10hp on so I don’t have to mess with sheaves or anything and just run it.

now that I’ve had some time to think about it, I’d probably just hang on to the 3-phase for when I move my side hustle to a commercial building.

If you already have a 7.5hp & plan to move to a commercial area in the future seems like a no brainer. Smaller pulley for now and keep the old pulley and 3 phase motor wrapped up awaiting the move.

Awesome compressor

Did you end up buying it? 7.5hp 1-phase will absolutely work, correct pulley and if you must regulate the pressure down until the motor is happy. It'll make lots of wind, those 350 compressors are a pleasure.
I paid $1500 for one in mint condition and did a re-fresh and resold it for a decent profit. I currently have one that I paid $500 for only the compressor head and base, no motor or tank.
