I have the Quincy 60 gal, 5 hp compressor. At the tank there's what appears to be a 2" bushing to 1/2" female. Before I attempt to remove it and replace it with a 2" to 3/4" bushing I need to be sure it can be removed. Any thought. I have 2 3/4" Maxline Master kits I want to install and want to keep it all 3/4". Thanks.

Big pipe wrench.
Or 3/4" drive socket with a breaker bar + cheater pipe (yes, you will likely bend the Chinesium breaker bar with the pipe). Applying heat may help.

Another option is a half-inch corded drill with a large bit - enlarge the opening and then use a 3/4" NPT pipe tap to cut 3/4" threads in the existing reducer. The chips will fall to the bottom of the tank, most of which can likely be blown out of the bottom port with the drain valve removed. And if some are left inside, no harm done as they will never come out anyways.
