One of my Quincy compressors has the 325 pressure lubed head with the oil filter. I've used the Quincip 100 ISO 30 oil it since I bought it used a couple of years ago. From what I've been told, the Quincip is nondetergent oil that allows any particulates to not remain suspended in the oil. Would it be better to run a conventional 30w oil in it to keep the particulates suspended and allow the filter to do its job? The Quincip is a bit pricey from Quincy plus their shipping. If I stick with 30w non-detergent, is there anything else out there that is the same or better than Quincip? The other Quincy I have is the QE-5 and is splash lubricated. I know I have to run non-detergent it. Suggestions?
