I know there are a few Quincy compressor experts out there and I'm hoping the answer can be found.
My pilot has a leak that comes out of the small hole in the end of the pilot valve. I've corresponded with my favorite compressor supply shop as well as the Quincy tech help for Norcal and all I've really been able to determine is the replacement assembly part number.
Since I didn't have much to lose, I pulled the unit apart to see if there was something obvious, like some gunk or what not on the check ball. The picture is what I found. I'm pretty sure that plunger shouldn't be bent, but how would something like that get bent? From what I can tell it's a thumb screw and spring that applies pressure, not exactly a lot of lateral force.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
