Hey guys, I was browsing through the Lowes tool section (I don't know why I even do this anymore, since it is depressing to see all the low quality import tools...)

Anyways, I was shocked that they had Quincy air compressors on the floor. They had a small Quincy (looked rebranded) "consumer" 30 gallon or so, but they also had the huge 60 gallon, 5Hp and 80 gallon 7.5 Hp beasts with Baldor motors with American flags!

The blue beasts looked scary compared to the IR **** they used to have. I know these aren't 325 QR Quincys, but I think this is great move on their behalf.

Have any of you guys see them at the local Lowes?

I haven't seen them at my local Lowes yet but man I hope they show up! The reason... every time Lowes brings in some high quality tool they never sell well. Partly because they don't price them competitively and because the typical Lowes customer will not spend the money for top quality tools.

The good news is after a year or 2 of slow sales, Lowes will clearance them out at stupid low prices so there may be a nice Quincy compressor in my future! :D

I looked for one while in Lowe's this weekend but all they had were Kobalts. The two on display had pumps that looked about the right size to go on a small portable tank, but they were slapped on 60 gallon uprights. To me they looked downright weird.
