First-time post here, though I've thoroughly enjoyed lurking around the various fora.
I have an opportunity to acquire a Quincy PLT-5 compressor. It's about nine years old. I have searched extensively, but I've been unable to locate any specific user reviews of this unit. As I gather, the PLT features pressure lubrication of the main bearings and splash on the rest. The capacity and so on fall directly where I need them for my intended uses (I restore vintage woodworking machines). What I'd like to know is whether this compressor enjoys the same reputation as other Quincy models, or are there issues of which I need to be aware?
I'd much appreciate any feed back that anyone can offer. This is a terrific site and I'm glad I found it. Reminds me a lot of the OWWM site, which is among the best I know.
Cheers!
