Quincy QE-5 Compressor

I don't have a photo of it yet, but if we get the house we put an offer on, I'll be buying the QE-5 Quincy that's in the garage. It's a horizontal 5HP 240v two stage with an 80 gallon tank. Does anyone know anything about this series vs. the QT series? I was able to run it and check it out. It does need an oil change and a new air filter. It's just a splash lubed pump. I already have a 80 gallon Quincy with the 325 pressure lubed pump. I'm buying this one so I'll have a compressor that's working when we move in. It will also allow me to fix a leaking seal on mine. Then I'll have TWO Quincys.

SL series pump, so you probably can't wear it out in your lifetime. They were offered with single or 3 phase electric motors, or gas engines. Books are available on their website for both the pump and the complete setup.

If you have more than 3 Quincy compressors then you are officially a hoarder...I’m trying to make a deal on a second one so I can use it to bead blast my first one.....[emoji848][emoji85][emoji481]
