I have a Quincy QT-7.5 Air Compressor. It ran perfectly until the rear pump bearings left the chat (plenty of oil, they just blew apart). It damaged at least the block, crank, and large piston wrist pin so a rebuild is not economical.
Quincy wants $2k for a new pump. They discontinued the original pump so you have to buy a newer model and a retrofit kit...
Are there any resources for a used QT-7.5 besides Marketplace? I see one retailer online selling new ones for $1500. Or is there a pump that I can make work with the 7.5hp motor that gets me close to the original cfm?
Any suggestions are appreciated!
