Just had my shop built and thought I would share with all of you. Pulled quite a few ideas from this site. I am currently organizing tools hanging shelves/cabinets and waiting on my lift to be installed.

I am a total rookie when it comes to building. My question is why didn't the trusses come to a point at the top? The picture of the framing shows the trusses flat on the top but the final build shows the roof coming to a point.
Excuse me if I have not used the correct terms, I hope you understand my question.

You have a nice looking space I know you will enjoy.

Along the lines of the above question... why not use attic trusses, to take advantage of all of that overhead space, since you already had a low, flat ceiling beneath them?

I wanted to ask what's your ceiling height and what size are your doors? Have you got the lift installed? Garage looks great I'm working on a similar design except that it will have attic truss.
