i have a 24x30 steel quonset building. Trying to find a way to light it. Limited on attachment points and don't want to drill holes and create leak points. The building is basically 180 degree segments 2' wide. Each segment is made of three pieces, therefore it is bolted in these places (future attachment points) one near the top center, one about midway up the wall and another near floor level.
Each segment is bolted together about every 6" the entire length of the segment at the 2' centers.
That's it, very limited attachment points.
I ran a string of florescent 2 bulb strip lights at about 8' above the floor (hanging from chain attached at the segment bolts, down each side of the building. (24 tubes) still pretty poorly lit. The open area between the lights is about 20', dark galvanized steel building and grey concrete floor.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Duh! Sometimes you "can't see the forest through the trees", I can drop hanger rods anywhere I want on 2' centers one direction and about 6" centers the opposite direction off the panel bolts. Just screw on a 5/16 rod coupling and drop a rod.
Pretty much unlimited attachment points to run conduit, boxes and fixtures.

Posting some photos would be helpful since the old saying " a picture is worth a thousand words" is still true and there are different types of Quonset buildings & the way they are constructed differs.

We have quite a few Quonset buildings around here, I always hated running pipe in those. No matter what you do, your pipe almost never looks good because the corrugations are wavy. Your pipe won't lay flat, it looks like it's bowed into place. Then you can't run screws in anywhere without squirting some silicone in the hole first.
