I just received a quote for the slab for my garage and would love some help in determining if it’s reasonable or not. Here are the details.

18’x24’
35mpa (5000psi)
6” with mesh reinforcement
12” footers
12” pony wall
16” competed gravel

9650$ CDN plus tax

Does this seem reasonable for my area?

seems a bit high compared to what I have been quoted for a 28x44 in Drummondville. But everything is pricier in Montreal itself.

I should add that this cost includes all labor and excavation.

Seems fairly reasonable given it's 6" thick and has footers/pony wall. They're doing all the form work for it as well? Ground prep?

Seems reasonable to me. Concrete/foundation is typically the most expensive part of a garage build.

Are you planning to use rebar to reinforce the slab? If so, I'd drop the fiber mesh - can't get a nice smooth finish with the fiber.
