I have a Robinair manifold set (48510) that I purchased 5 years ago. Now both the quick connections are leaking freon when you disconnect the fittings from the vehicle. I priced a new set of quick connects from Robinair and was floored with the $105 (18192 Robinair part number) proce tag!

Is there a way to rebuild these or do I need purchase the replacement fittings?

I know that my older R-22 QR fittings were rebuildable. I snagged several whole fittings and some spare necessary O-rings so I'd never be caught short. I don't know for certain if the R-134a fittings are similar.

Yellow Jacket has a great parts breakdown with O-ring sizes that could help someone with that brand of fitting.

And Amazon has an O-ring kit with alot of different sizes for auto A/C fittings. Maybe that could be of help?

Just went thru this myself on a set of Robinair 134A couplers & there is nothing easily found on the 'net on the o-ring sizing.
The official o-ring set is spendy, $25 CND wholesale for 2 o-rings. I suspect that they are HNBR mat'l.
Hi side large o-ring #113, low side small o-ring #111.
Attached is the doc from the kit with some notes.
New o-rings measure correctly for the size numbers on an o-ring chart.

Was that kit for these adapters?

I was looking at couplings this week too and looks like yellow jacket recent switched production to Taiwan. What do you guys like for quality couplings these days?
