You could live trap them and then dump the trap into a 55 gallon drum filled with water to drown them that way you will not damage the pelt if you want to skin them. It is a pretty common thing to do around here. I don't care what anyone says they are vermin and around here they are no different than opossums,squirrels etc when it comes to killing them on sight.
Hey SCscoutguy, while I agree with you in part its kind of like the old saying "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". While you may be a deer, quail, pheasant or rabbit hunter and put these animal in a higher order than the fur-bearers and predators. I am a trapper and small game hunter. If I catch them I skin them and sell the pelts regardless of value. So it's also like the "one mans trash is another mans treasure" saying? Not even mentioning the fact that it's probably illegal?
