I am redoing an older garage which has a floor that has seen better days. Its crumbling on one side and the other is cracked some. Does this matter much with these floors? Can I just lay them down over this and be done with it? Here are some pics, although its worse then the pics show. The dust is killing me.

Garage Floor tiles in general require very little floor prep. That said if the surface below them is uneven they can tend to be a little noisy and even shift. A lot of my customers will go to Home Depot or Lowes and get the roll out foam underlayment that they use under floating floors. It deadens the noise and gives you a little bit of a buffer between your floor and the tile.

Synthetic landscape felt material is really cheap and works great, and will not react to most petro chemicals. Give us a call and we can walk you through an easy installation process

RaceDeck was made for just the application you are asking about....Cheers
