Race Deck Diamond vs. Freeflow Floor Tiles

While looking at the Racedeck flooring options, has anyone installed and mixed in the Freeflow tiles with either Diamond or Cointop tiles?

I see that the benefit fo the Freeflow tiles is to improve liquid run-off, etc., however since the floor I would be covering has epoxy and no drains, is there any added benefit or is it strictly cosmetic?

I live in Florida, so I don't worry about slush or snow, however I do pull in rain-soaked cars into the garage on a regular basis.

Some of the design ideas I'm considering would be diamond tiles on the boarders and then freeflow in the areas where the cars are parked.

Anyone have suggestions and/or recommendations based on their personal experience?

Thanks!

I do live with snow and slush, and a resulting need to sponge mop the floor occaisionally. Unless I was going to use a water hose in the garage, I see no need for free flow. Even then, I would then only run a line not a full area.

While our climate is dry and water evaporates quickly, substantial snow melt has not caused any issues with the race deck floor.

I am starting to redo my garage also. I am going to use freeflow where the cars sit and use snap carpet around the outside. I'm in IL. and we drag in a lot of snow and slush. I keep the garage heated to about 45 so by morning everything should be melted and gone down the drain.

We live in the mountains and have lots of snow...In my personal garage I have FreeFlow where the daily drivers are and it is so nice to come out in the morning and all of the wet snow and slop is gone. The plan you have for the FreeFlow will work great

So for a Florida garage with no floor drain, the free flow doesn't provide any extra value over the diamond tread for rain run-off correct?
