I have read that some people are surprised by the shine of the regular diamond RD. From some pics I have seen it dull and track tire/caster wheel prints on it.

Does TuffShield reduce tracks?

Is TuffShield more slippery?

Can a floor wax be used on the regular, if its too dull?

I was surprised by the shine on the regular RD diamond I installed last month. If it starts to dull over the months / years, they sell a maintainer product that brings a shine back and leaves a sealant type layer over it... There was a post on here about it that has some before and after photos of a members floor after 4 or 5 years of abuse and then the result after the maintainer. Did bring back a shine to the floor.

I am leaning to Tuffshield, Will call and discuss it when I place my order tomorrow. Any one else with 2 cents to throw in, feel free.

Its going in my motorcycle/reloading shop. A Handy lift will be placed on it.

What about the water that gets trapped under the tile??
