I purchased 12 replacement tiles from Race Deck, diamond alloy. The new tiles have an extra shiny finish that doesn't match the existing tiles. I understand the old tiles have worn but I matched them to tiles in a closet and around the perimeter where there was no wear and they don't even come close to matching. I called Race Deck and was told it's the same finish. Has anyone had this same problem?

Are you sure they did not send you diamond alloy toughshield? Those are shinier "high gloss" by design.

Agree with this. The Diamond Alloy is more a matte color.
Double check your order. RaceDeck I suspect will make good on it if there’s an error
I questioned Race Deck when I called and was told they were the standard finish not toughshield.
That is very strange. Sometimes mistakes happen though. It is interesting that you bring this up since I plan to order around 10 more alloy to keep as spares soon. Please let me know what happens because I will only order if they are the same finish.

please send us a picture ( make it attention Jorgen and mention you are a GJ member). From your description, this sounds strange and the molds we make Racedeck do not vary? We will get it right for you.
