Race Deck garage door edging

Ran into a small problem when installing my race deck. I have a 2 bay garage with 2 separate doors. 1 door sits 5" back from the other. It was an addition done years ago. I had bought the edging pieces, but I need to cut a tile for one of the doors, and that leaves no way to interlock the trim edging to the tile. Hope that makes sense.

Should I look at other options for the ramped part? Anybody had to deal with this?

Thanks
Ryan

Thanks

Jennifer helped me out.

Can you share what your solution was? I've got a similar issue with my 3 car garage. The single car door is set back about 16" from the main 2 car door. I've got 13 boxes of RaceDeck tiles waiting to go down once I get around to it, and the edging on the 1 car door was one of my concerns. Thanks!

Keep in mind every design and situation is a little different. Sometimes you can offset a tile. Other times you can trim the front tile from the back and other times you end up using a piece of diamond trim. Your best bet is ALWAYS to call the manufacturer of your tile and let them work a solution with you.

I ordered a 4" rubber transition piece. It comes in a 12' section. I will post pics once I get it. Only ordered for 1 side and will decide if I am doing it on both sides.

This is what I bought. I’m pretty sure it was from Racdeck but it’s been a while. I glued it to the concrete. It has come loose occasionally, but I just glue it again. It just overlaps slightly.
