Race Deck Question

I'm deciding between the glossy Race Deck finish [Tuffshield] and the standard finish for my attached 2-car garage. It's a home garage and I'm finishing it into a nice showplace for my Harley, and also to detail cars.

While I like the look of the glossy Tuffshield, I wonder if it dulls over time, or with winter grit and grime, etc.

So let's here from you Racedeck folks--I need to hear whether the Tuffshield holds it's gloss over time, and whether sweeping and mopping can maintain the shine over time with regular use and everyday road grime droppings.

Hi
Our patent TuffShield is very durable. Unlike paints or films, the protective layer is molded into the surface, creating a commercial grade high-gloss protective layer.

In comparison to the original RaceDeck, which is a satin surface it is just as durable if not more. With that said, if you manage to scratch the TuffShield you will notice it more as it is glossy, the satin finish really hides scratches that may occur over the years. I have TuffShield in my garage here in SLC and it holds up fantastic

I have not had mine down long enough to tell you long term. However if a tile or two gets really scratched you can always pop put and replace it. Easier to wipe clean with a smoother surface too. With the CJ discount it also was not that much more than buying the regular one elsewhere. I also was happy with the service.
