I have a stepped boarder around my garage which limits my size for tiles to only 272 sq ft (16'x17'). It seems like a Freeflow style floor would be preferred, could I get a quote?

My zip is 77009.

Thanks!

Any issue with using the G-Floor to contain leaks from vehicles oil and/or coolant). Also, will the G-Floor roll up by moving a vehicle on to or off of it using car dollies? Thank

I have seen a few of our customers use various containment mats with RaceDeck, primarily under lifts. Most use temporarily for a specific job they are working on under the lift.

Thanks for choosing RaceDeck! looking forward to seeing your new garage.

Some advice please...

I'm looking to do a checkerboard pattern of Alloy and Graphite in my 2.5 (467sq ft.) car garage. I notice many use the 12" squares and do a 2x2 pattern. I'm debating between this and using the 18" XL size in a 1x1 pattern. The 12" would seem to offer more flexibility, is there a cost difference?)

...and a quote would be great- thanks

I’m also about to cover a 3 car garage of about 660 sq feet. I had the gladiator tiles in my last house and loved them. After much research and just reading this forum, found that racedeck actually manufactures the gladiator tiles. So I’m going with racedeck in the new house.

I’m actually thinking of ordering them this week.

I'd like a quote for 700 ft^2. I'm finishing up a new build and was considering doing a sealed and polished concrete floor but I'm not sure whether I would want the free flow or diamond plate. I'm open to recommendations. How does it do with jacks and other rolling carts, etc?

Thanks,
Brandon

The tiles in my avatar picture are FreeFlow and I wouldn't change. My avatar shows about half of my garage. Her DD occupies the other half. The slop, slush, snow, rain grit and grime goes through the slots and follows the slope of the floor to the overhead door opening. My floor jack and roller tool box are fine on the FreeFlow tiles. If your jack stands bottoms don't roll or curl under then I suggest a piece of plywood or such under them. One set of mine roll under and those are fine on the tiles. Quick and easy to clean. One of the features of the FreeFlow tiles is the tiles dry them selves. No pooling. Even the winter slush and snow, as quick as it melts, disappears. CJDave.

I have a couple of questions regarding the RaceDeck garage flooring. I’m not seeing any mention of it on their website, but then maybe I’m just blind!

Can floor jacks and jack stands be used on it without damage to the flooring? Most of my jack stands have plates/footings on the bottom of each leg, and I can weld plates on the rest of my stands if that would help?

Also, can the flooring be trimmed to tightly fit around closets and cabinets?

I would be interested in the solid surface diamond pattern style if that makes a difference with either of my questions.

Edit: I just noticed that CJDave addressed the jack and jack stands issue, but it would still be great to hear other member’s experiences and suggestions on the subject. Thanks!

Thanks!

The tiles are easily trimmed. I used a circular saw with a paneling (fine toothed) blade but I didn't need to make any tight fits. A saber saw or jig saw should work very nicely. Depending upon how many fine cuts you need to make a coping saw may also work.
I don't see any difference in which pattern tile you go with. I helped my buddy do his garage in diamond pattern and we also used my circular saw.
Good luck. CJDave.

Just ordered 13 boxes for my project. Shawna I think her name was, was awesome. Doing alloy diamond and black diamond. I can’t wait to see this in our new garage. Our house is only 3 months old but I’m getting this garage project done.

I’m really impressed so far with racedeck, their products and customer service. So far so good

For some work left to do but overall very happy with the purchase and product. I do think the instructions should give guidance around the door facing trim
