Race Facility Garage Floor

I'm having a tough time sorting through what type of floor gives the smooth, glossy finish in race team facility garage floors. Below is a picture of the floors in the pit garages at Circuit of the Americas (COTA). I'd like to reproduce that type of floor in my own garage, either by DIY or professionally installed. I'd prefer a white or, barring that, very light gray finish. I'm located in Fairfax, Virginia.

The garage particulars are:
24' x 24'-4" main section
24' x 5'-4" on 9" step-up from main section
New concrete installed ~ 6 months ago
Slab saw-cut to avoid cracking

What system can be applied by a DIY to acheive the desired results? Is abrading required or will a clean followed by acid wash suffice?

It can be done relatively easily. Polyurea or polyaspartic. Perhaps an extra coat or two, depending on mil thickness and surface texture after prep. The problem is.... It will be an ice skating rink

Thanks for the feedback. I assume it would be slippery when wet. :rocker: The COTA garage was just fine dry. Would a satin/semi-gloss/flat finish improve grip? I keep a fairly tidy garage so I'm not too worried about fluids.

The smoother you make it the more slick it will be and the more susceptible to damage it will be -- not to mention the more it will show. We used a fine anti wear anti skid with this project. https://www.garageflooringllc.com/2017/05/15/white-garage-floor-coating-polyurea/

Does it not rain in NY?

;)

Look into anti-slip additives- but that absolutely will alter the gloss. You could also create one area for wet cars/bikes, have anti slip there, but keep the rest high gloss. Like front versus back

Thanks for making me realize I haven't updated my location.

It rains where I live but this garage won't be for daily drivers so I'm less concerned. That said, it looks like I can still get a good finish, though not high gloss, while having anti-slip properties.

It's not detached, we built a bedroom/kitchen expansion/great room above the garage. We're on a 1/2 acre lot.
