Some background: The 3rd bay in my L-shape 3+ car attached garage has a significant slope. It was somewhat driven by the shape of the garage and getting everything to the same level where the doors (8 ft & 18 ft) exit to the drive apron. I elected to shim to level even knowing it would raise the runners at the entry side. It's just the way it is. It's used primarily for storage and I got by for a few years dragging out the steel ramps plus some homegrown and overbuilt wood extended ramps...never felt unsafe but both the steel and wood was heavy and a pain to store. Because the lift is so close to the door, the steel ramps had to be removed to close the door.
I think I showed the steel ramp mods in the "what did you do today" thread. I basically cut them in half and added "stay up" brackets so they could be left attached permanently. The race ramps are actually designed for trailer loading but were the perfect height and plenty long. They are 2 pcs. each and light as a feather.
