I have two of the guides and they work very well. They allow my wife to park just far enough in the garage to allow the most room for in front of my workbench and permitt the door to close without hitting her vehicle. I bought the other one for my side of the garage. Being a guy, I didn't need it but I didn't want her to feel less capable then the man in the house............I kid I kid, kind of.

I have a similar setup I'm the garage (no tiles). Problem is when you park different cars.

At least the racedexk one cannot slip. Mine moved after 4 years of daily use and I scratched the rear bumper with the door. Glad is was only the daily driver.

I believe is intended to manage you into your garage and alert you to stop your opposite wheels accurately where you need them.

I did the exact same thing. It was -20 and the garage was cold inside (close to freezing) and it slid.

Inscratxhed my bumper and never trusted my guide afterwards
