Hi,

I have a bus RV that weighs 55k pounds. going to build an rv garage and want a nice surface on the floor. i also do work on the bus. from reading the many posts about toolboxes, jackstands etc, i am comfortable with that.

what about having a 55k pound bus on it? i read the specs on 80,000 pounds but didnt find any references in this forum to anything as heavy as my bus.

any experience, comments or thoughts?

thanks

tom

Should not be a problem...it is not 80Klbs per tire...we run a 20K Forklift on them with solid tires..which your bus does not have...Good way to find out is call them in the morning and get a few sample tiles...snap them together and run your bus over them a few time to check...really this is not a fair test with them not all locked into place but it will give you a pretty good idea of the weight load...my guess is not a problem...I have a lift post on them right now ( just put in the garage this weekend) and it has a 10klb base plate...no issues at all. I really love the stuff..also if you would notice Barrett jackson ran a few prevost buses over their freeflow and it looks great each an every auction...good luck with it..

Hi
You will have no issue parking your motor coach on RaceDeck, we have the highest vehicle rolling loads of all modular flooring and have many customers with big heavy rigs ( like Prevost and even 18 wheelers)
Happy to send you sample to abuse ;)

I can attest as well that the Race Deck will hold up just fine under that weight, no problem. In fact we have lifted bused up on Rotary mobile wheel lifts up in the air on top of the Race Deck. I am currently working on a project bid for a bunch of Race Deck type flooring for a local transit, I have the lift portion of the job and they are now asking for a tile product for a couple of bays in the shop. This just jogged my memory that I have some good shots of us doing just that...thanks!

I get requests for a tile done garage from time to time...might be something to look into.

Love to see some pictures when you get your project all done Tom, and best of luck with the whole deal, bet it turns out great!
