I've only had my tiles down for about a week or so. I have a rubber backed mat at the outside entrance door on top of the solid tile. Does anyone know if the rubber backing will discolor the tile after time?

I have had a thick rubber mat on my RaceDeck (gladiator) tiles. I actually use it to park my lawn mower on. No discoloration. No problem, however this is inside my garage, not outside in the sun... :)

You should have no discoloring and another option to create a fatigue pad is our Patented ShockTower® shock absorber system built into the understructure of your floor http://www.racedeck.com/shocktower-garageflooring.html - you can retro-fit your existing RaceDeck® floor section too.
