designing a new garage workspace. interested in a flush mount bendpak scissor lift (6LPF) and racedeck flooring. haven't seen much covered for this combo. i'm thinking of flush mounting the lift with the concrete, then covering it with the racedeck tiles, and removing them when i need the lift.
if i've done my math correctly, 2 12" tiles will span the width of the lift platform, and then i can put 3 12" tiles in between the platforms, which will give 41" between platforms, which is within spec (40-46").
is there a downside to a (slightly) smaller width between platforms? has anyone else done something similar to this? thanks,
