Kind of an odd question bit it could turn out to be a deal breaker.

I am about to make my racedeck orders or my new garage as soon as I can make up my mind if I want circle track or free flow tiles.

After reading the slippery when wet thread I got to thinking if it is slick for me then the dog will not even be able to stand on it when it gets wet....
My shop dog is with me about 95% of the time when I a out in the garage so if the flooring will not work for him it won't work for me..

So let me know what experience you have with this!

I had the dog out in the garage with me last night, it wasnt wet, but I don't think there would have been any issues if it was. When I threw the ball, her feet moved similar to how they would on laminate flooring, in that she doesnt get as much traction as she would on carpet, but there arent any slippery-floor problems. The floor is way better than I thought it would be. Slippery isnt something I am worried about after getting RaceDeck in my garage.

I had the circle track with an older lab and she had no problem when wet. No experience with the free flow, but I would think it would be even safer.

cant be worse than hard wood floors. Our dogs use the walls as berms to corner LOL

I've got Racedeck Freeflow and a Basset Hound.

Water causes no issues with her, and she's wide open.

I was somewhat concerned with her nails possibly getting caught in the Freeflow but she's had no issues so far.

My Racedeck hasn't been wet with my Rottie *105lbs* or my Daschund*26lbs* They both run around skidding all over the place having a ball. And I mean really running around like crazy. They love it out there. Like it's their personal playroom.

I haven't had any issues with the floor being slippery from just water, so the dogs should be fine. If you have oil on the floor, then yeah it will be slippery.. but that's the same with any floor

the dog will be fine with the floor

I just pressure wash 800sq ft of the stuff this weekend. Was not slippery at all.

My friend also uses race deck tiles in his shop flooring and he has also had a little and pretty dog. His dog is the main part of his life, his go everywhere with his dog and also shop. And he tells me doesn't problem with the floor. But if you have oil on the floor, then yeah it will be slippery .

I would say it wouldn't be an issue. Tile and hardwood would be way worse. We have all three and my dog is fine. They adjust how they walk based on their traction, much like us haha.
