RaceDeck is an awesome product! The only thing that might be better than the product is the customer service. I used approximately 2500 treaded tiles and everyone of them snapped together perfect I did not have a single tile with a defect.
The only issue I have with the tile was my own fault. Unfortunately I used Black Magic Tire Wet on the tires on one of my cars and the tire treatment eventually dripped to the floor and I can’t clean it off the tiles. Everything else I have spilled on the tiles cleaned right off. Because of the nature of the BlackMagic I am sure it reacted similar to the tile as it does to tires. If anyone has any recommendations or thoughts on how to clean the tiles i would really appreciate them.
Thanks Bob

Looks great. The great thing about RaceDeck and similar products is the ability to replace a single tile easily if it gets damaged/dingy/stained. Just order a new one.

Floor looks great and timing is perfect - thanks! I just joined the garage journal forum to research this topic. I'm a past Racedeck customer with a diamond tile installation (looks like that's what you used) at the beach house which I love! Trying to catch up on any new features/ideas now for the primary residence. Did you consider the freeflo tile? I'm considering that as I'll have more traffic on this floor.

Welcome to the GJ and thanks for choosing RaceDeck in the past. If you are considering FreeFlow, you should check out our FreeFlowXLC a bigger & beefier product with added patent features https://racedeck.com/racedeck-products/free-flow-xlc/

Can you use things like car dollies on a race deck floor?
Yes you can, but the larger the wheels the better. The surface will withstand a lot of weight. However, unlike concrete, it still has some very slight give to it (it's not easy to see) that creates a very small depression that travels with the wheels as they roll. When under a lot of weight, the larger wheels roll easier while the smaller wheels require more force to push since they tend to sit slightly deeper in the depression.

Resurrecting thread to ask, is there any one Race Deck pattern that makes rolling the dollies easier ? Circle vs diamond etc ?

I don't use dollies but my engine stand and engine hoist when loaded with a 428 Ford motor both roll well on my Free Flow tiles. My roller tool box also moves easily. CJDave.

We have engineered most all our out tread patterns to have a slight radius for rolling objects. The FreeFlow XLC is also a great product for rolling items with patented top flat-plane surface
