I ordered my RaceDeck today! Jennifer was great to deal with and got my order placed quickly. It will arrive friday!

Here are some pictures of the pattern and a floor plan I mocked up this morning.

Congrats. Looks similar to what I had originally thought up as far as pattern goes. Be sure to post up some pictures, as I currently have to live vicariously through others for now.

What's this stuff cost? I want to put it in my garage after the shop is complete.

Congrats Michal. Looks great! I like the black border idea. How did you do your floor plan layout? I know the color layout is from RD website, but your plan is about as unsquare as mine is.

Scramblur, They offer a Garage Journal member discount. The price varies based on total quantity needed. For me, it will be a lot less going with RaceDeck than ordering whatever Sears has to offer at $3/sf. Go to http://www.racedeck.com/ and fill out the 'Contact Us' like and they will get in touch with you. Or just call them. Kia and Jennifer have been very helpful to GJ members.

Go to Racedeck's website.they have a program where you can put in your own exact dimensions & various patterns. You'll know exactly how many tiles you need.

I just sent them the plan, told them the pattern, and they figured it out for me:bounce:. The problem with their little layout thing is you cannot account for little coves for doors, walls sticking out in places, etc. It only really works if you have a rectangle.

True, the website is good if you have a perfect rectangle, but use your length X width for your total area. You may have to cut a few tiles to get around any projections or irregularities.I had to make a cut & used my Sears /Craftsman compound mitre saw-no problem.Let me know if I can help you out in any way.My .02 worth is free.

Got the RaceDeck in today. First look I have to admit i'm a little disappointed. If you took at the tiles from about a foot away you can see these scratches in the plastic (looks like a spider web), it is especially visible on black. The gaps on the boxed 2 by 2 tile squares are quite large, hopefully they will close up once the whole floor is in.

On their website, you could do the big rectangle, and then fill in some odd color you don't want to block off the parts that aren't really there, creating your exact shape. Then, do the rest with the colors you do want. Once done, at the bottom, it'll tell you what to order, and you can just ignore the one color that isn't really floor. This worked great for me.

Got the RaceDeck put in. Overall I like it, looks good and was EASY to put it. I wish Snap-Lock offered some trim pieces to put along the wall. The UPS guy rolled the boxes off his truck and onto the driveway which damaged the edges, but I guess I can live with it. No time for pictures!

Looks Great Michal. The Vette's look right at home on it.

Thanks for the heads up on the UPS delivery. I'll have to be there when it comes.

Yeah, the driver said where do you want it? I thought I'd do him a favor and said the driveway. He backs in and rolls the 8 boxes off the truck and stacks them on the driveway :wtf:.

Hey Michal The floor looks awesome I know you commented on my floor also.... :) i can't be happier ether....

Ironically I was home for lunch the day UPS came..... I had left a note asking to put them in my backyard... but since I was home.. he said where do you want it... I said can you back up to the garage.... so he did and we off loaded 11 boxes onto his hand truck..... walked them into the far cornet of my garage emptied it and off her went.....
was perfect timing....

Again..... congrats and good luck with the floor.... :)
