I am in the process of putting down my new RaceDeck floor and was wondering what the smaalest width of the final row of tile should be. Going by the recommended installation steps, I am going to end up with about 1" (leaving the required 1/4" - 1/2" space beyond that) left over to fill. Would it be better to cut the first row to "equalize" the appearance betwwen the first and last rows, or just cut the 1 inch widths? It looks like there is is enough width so that the male "studs" are left unaffected.

Thanks for choosing RaceDeck  - You can always call us while your installing with any questions.
From what I think you are asking, I do not believe you need to do any extra cutting to "equalize" your pattern for 1"-2" difference, but if you feel that you must, give us a call and we can talk you through on the easiest way to do so.

Jorgen,

Thanks for input. I went ahead and did a test cut on a tile. The resulting 1 inch wide piece worked great and snapped perfectly into the last row. Because my floor is all one color, the small row is almost un-noticeable. Your product is great - lots of interest from the neighbors!
