Matty D, nice looking setup!

How does the Gladiator compare to the regular RaceDeck? Did you look at the Craftsman tiles at all, how do they compare? Is the texture/patter different enough that mixing won't look as good as sticking to one brand only?

Does the Free Flow have the same look in person as it does in the pictures (4 6x6 tiles vs 1 12x12)

Did you save any good deals for me? ;)

I sent you a PM with some questions as well..

Matt

Hi
In FreeFlow we offer it in both 12x12 and 18x18 which can be interlocked together and with solid versions of RaceDeck as well for really limitless design options. The Gladiator flooring has a different top surface design but will interlock with RaceDeck. ( colors are not the same )

I actually used Racedeck Diamond (Graphite color) under my workbench. This is what I did with my Racedeck samples and a few extra tiles I bought when planning the floor.

The rest of the floor is Gladiator. I put a yellow circle around the relevant tiles. The stool is on top of a Craftsman rubber mat. I actually really like the contrast between the Racedeck workbench space and the rest of the Gladiator floor.

The fit between the Gladiator tiles and Racedeck tiles is flawless. Thanks Racedeck for making awesome products!

Thanks everyone for your props.

Here are some pics of the tiles. Like Mr. Moller said, Gladiator tiles are pretty much the same as Racedeck except for the treadplate design/pattern. They fit perfectly. You can also see the difference between freeflow (Gladiator Drain Tile), Gladiator, and Racedeck diamond side-by-side.

Because I had some extra Racedeck, I used them just for the bench area. It doesnt bother me, and I actually like the subtle Racedeck 'cut-out' for the bench area.

I also included a pic under the bench to show you how I 'cheated' by using up all my extra, odd-colored tiles which you cant see when the cabs are under the bench. LOL.

Im not done quite yet...have to order just a few more pieces to cut and install.
