RaceDeck Edge question

Glad I came across this site as I saved a great amount on my RaceDeck floor. I almost went with another brand but the Garage Journal discount was within $0.25 a sq foot...Racedeck won.

My question is this. I was a bit off in my measurement and have a very small gap at the back of my garage. The space is so small it seems silly to cut up tiles to fill it. Are there Racedeck edges that will fit this side of the tile? If not are there any other creative ideas?

The ramp edge you used at the entrance to the garage is available with both female and male tab connectors. I'd think you could order what you need and then cut them to the width you need. Why not just run a baseboard made of Azek painted to the color you want?

I have the same problem. I'm about 4 inches shy on one long wall about 45 feet long and I would have to cut up 45 Tuff Shield tiles to fill the gap. I need options as well.

And not to hijack this thread, but are you experiencing any issues with static electricity with your tiles? I have about 1250 sq ft of tuff shield tiles over concrete and you walk on them for 10 seconds and touch something and i'm getting zapped constantly. Weird.

I just emailed someone at Snaplock and if i understand correctly, the only edging they offer is the ramp edging so its rounded over. I used those at the entrance to my shop and they come in a dull black finish. Obviously not the same finish as the tuff shield and the smallest tuff shield tile they make is 1'x1' so i guess i'll have to cut and waste a **** load of tiles to fill the gap. Bummer

you could also do an oversized lip cove base or custom cove base

IMHO looking at the pics I'd cut down a tile. Price is not going to be that much different

I needed 4-5 inches down an entire side of my garage.

We bit the bullet, cut the extra 50 RD free flow tiles to only use half a tile or less, and I'm super happy that we did.

Only cost a few hundred dollars extra and made the project finish up absolutely perfect.

Here's a pic of us using partial tile (see far left against wall) instead of leaving space. Doing it this way it's nearly impossible to tell a cut tile is even there.
