Racedeck Free-Flow Cutting Question

So I have my racedeck freeflow floor being shipped to me and I am planning ahead a bit on the install. Do I but it up to the edges of the garage or should I leave a certain gap around the edges of the garage for expansion? I know this is more of an issue with the solid tiles, but I don't see any good information on the free flow in terms of this. Wondering if I should leave it 1", 2" away or more or if I should put it right up to it.

I believe the recommendation is 3/4" as a gap left for expansion. I know i left a slight gap, just in case and i have had no issues with extreme temperature swings that we get up here.

3/4 is ideal. We had to cheat a bit to get our base to cover the gap. Keep in mind too, depending on the pattern you are doing...

Standing outside the garage, looking in, you should have a flat side to your left and a flat side facing you. Female edges. Since the side on the left is flat, you can get by with all your cuts being on the right instead of half off each side.

We left ours out in the sun as installing and so far so good.

Thanks. My base is uneven concrete on the lower walls. Perhaps in time I'll add some pvc to cover the gap. Time will tell how much it bugs me.
