Hello,

I am in the process of designing my floor and would like to have some picture of user on this forum that are in the same situation. I have a garage 12' x 22' with in the middle a floor drain (18 inch x 24 inch) that have a checker aluminium plate on top of that drain box.. I live in Canada where we have snow, I don't know how I will install the racedeck over that drain, if you have a garage with a drain could you post picture of your set up, it will help me with my finishing design.
I would like to go with alloy and graphite Racedeck free flow, if you have those color be please to post your picture.

Thank you guys !

I went with Black/Alloy/Graphite FreeFlow RaceDeck tiles with my current garage (Black/Red/Graphite in my last garage). I would post up a pic of your garage to get better insight. Is the floor drain cover raised at all? If not i would assume putting the RD FF tiles right over it wouldn't be an issue as these tiles are perfectly suited for that application.

Good afternoon piper,
I have close to what your looking for, alloy/black FreeFlow. I have a floor drain just about the same as yours slight slope to the drain. It's located between the two vehicles in the picture. As you can see, you can't see it. I just tiled right over it. No issues here in NJ. I'm very happy with the way it came out.

If that drain if fairly flush with the floor, the Racedeck will sit right over it and the drain won't even be noticeable. I cannot tell from the photo whether the drain cover is elevated.

The freeflow are not collecting rocks grime sand and all other **** we have here in winter on your roads???

I would really be worried they become packed with dirt around all 4 tires.

FreeFlow is quite popular in snowy climates as it allows all of that slop to drain through the floor and either to the drains or out the door if sloped, leaving you with a clean floor when you walk out the next morning :) . In my own personal garage I drove in with nearly 3 feet of snow outside, 8 degrees and the washed the truck in the garage to get all of the salt, slop and mud off and it drained through the floor and in the drains.
Happy New Year!
