Hey all,

I’m considering Racedeck flooring tiles and am trying to decide between Freeflow or Freeflow XLC. I know the XLC are much thicker and are 18x18. Is there any reason to spend 3 times as much for my 700sf garage and go with the XLC? Or, will I be happy with the standard Freeflow? I’ll be driving on it and it will be used as a regular home garage. I’ll occasionally use jack stands. Thoughts?

I think you’ll be more than happy with the standard 1’x1’ tiles. I just laid down 1000 of them and I love it. It really depends on your layout and need for cuts too. My back wall wound up being a 4” strip of tiles.

For jack stands, I’d recommend cutting a piece of Masonite or thin plywood as a buffer if the stand edges are sharp.

Thanks for the info! I appreciate it! I may change my order back to the standard Freeflow. It will save me a lot of money.

There are differences between the original FREEFLOW and FREEFLOW XLC - The XLC is the industries tallest, biggest, beefiest and first-of-its-kind slip-resistant technology to name a few. you can see here FREEFLOW XLC
