WooHoo, closing on new home Friday morning. Ordered RACEDECK floor for my new garage today. Stoked, haven't had a garage in the last 10 years.
Looking forward to the delivery in about 2 weeks. :bounce:

Congrats! I remember that waiting game a couple of weeks back. Was like Christmas morning when the dude in brown arrived! Enjoy the install and try not to rush.

Guess what arrived a day early? Oh yeah! Won’t get time until next week, but it’s here. 372791586832e3de86c736f0f71db775.jpg

Floor looks great. On these type of floors what happens to the water that seeps thru the seems/joints? We park our cars in the garage and in the winter there is snow & ice run off, does the water just stagnate under the tiles?

RaceDeck claims the seams fit tight enough that little or no seepage occurs with their solid tiles. I used the Free Flow tiles and the snow and ice melt runs through and under the tiles following the slope of my floor to the overhead door. CJDave.

Ok thanks, so these would probably not work on a level floor as the water will not drain.

Install look nice but shouldn’t there be spacing around the perimeter for expansion?

I am now in the position where I need to sort my garage flooring. This stuff looks good.
Could I ask what an approximate cost for this is - per sqm?

Thanks

I hope I can **** in on this thread.

I am in the UK and have been looking at floor tiling.

I have been looking at RaceDeck (solid 18" XL) and also PVC tiles for some other manufacturers (that go together like a jig saw).

Prices being similar, are RaceDeck tiles any better than the PVC type? My concern is that I believe the RD tiles aren't fully solid underneath.

Thanks for any guidance,

Just called and made an order for RaceDeck flooring. Super excited to finally get the garage done.

The whole process was super easy, from getting samples to calling in the order; Mr. Moller has built an outstanding team!

Just wish RaceDeck would develop a process to transport the flooring instantaneously as in "Beam me up, Scotty"

Thank you! I’m loving it.

Question for you on your toolbox and the Racedeck flooring. Is your box pretty full/heavy and does it sink down into the tiles at all? Any issues rolling it on them?

Just purchased a new place w/ 3 car garage and am looking at my flooring options. Thanks!

My toolbox is fully loaded and very heavy. There are no issues with the floor getting sunken down from the weight. As for rolling a full top and bottom, rolls quite easily actually. Highly recommend RaceDeck flooring.

I’m only familiar with the RaceDeck product. The underside is not solid. More of a channel underneath.

Excellent! I was leaning towards epoxy, but I've seen and known some that have done everything by the book and it just did not turn out that great, and others where it was perfect once completed.

I like the idea of not having to do all that prep work and the options of colors for patterns with the RD is awesome!

Thanks!
